Getting Here

Most people drive when visiting the area, but some do cycle and use the bus system. If you are driving please take care if unfamiliar with single track roads, especially in the dark.

From Inverness: Take the A9 north for approximately 10 miles and then follow the A835(Ullapool). At Ledmore Junction (75 miles) turn left on to the A837 (Lochinver). Just before you enter Lochinver turn right on the B869 (Stoer). Follow the signs for Stoer Head Lighthouse. After approximately 7 miles, at Stoer village hall, turn left towards the lighthouse. Carry on past the turns for Clashmore and Balchladich and over the next hill you will enter the small township of Raffin. Meall Dubh is at the far end of Raffin, and is the next house after Burnside.
